N8 - The One v6.1.0 & v6.2.0 translations

  here are the translations guys...

YES, THE V6.1.0 TRANSLATIONS ARE FIXED AND ARE USABLE FOR V6.2.0 !!!

I am working on a couple more, so if your link doesn't work, then be patient

 

Instructions

1. Just get the download from TheOne as always
2. get the translated files from me in your language
3. exchange the files you got from me with the original ones (rofs3 & uda, except in chinese versions --> rofs2 & uda)

New translation Features:

- updated ecom-2-0.spi
- small agenda calendar widget --> translated by me
- small text clock widget --> translated by me
- compact mail widget --> translated by me
- mini music widget --> translated by me
- text clock widgets in your language --> translations by wirer
   --> for now only 02, 03, 04, 17,  18, 25, 26, 27, 42, 54, 68, 76, 79 ... maybe more later
- new widgets: small analog clock and small single contact by LOVELAS translated
- added screensaverplugins in all languages
- fixed equalizer mod and metadata mod in all languages, but it shows in english... but for now at least its working
- added other language files 

Features

- all needed translation files
   (i had to convert some Russian files into Kazakh, because they are not available from Nokia original fw's, so some things could still be Russian there)
- if TTS (text to speech) is available for your language, then it is included
- all translated Rofs2 have English & your language
    (so if you need to follow English tutorials, then you know where to go)
- all writing and keyboard files
- all dialer files
- all chinese keyboard files tested and working

Known Bugs

- Third party Applications, for example: ROM patcher+, are not translated

    i just tried the one 6.1 with german translation but i had to go back to version 5.5 as i was not able to sync my calendar with the nokia suite anymore. with 5.5 this works fine.

    and another question: with 5.5 i tried to repartion c: to 288 mbytes. i wanted to do this as well with 6.1 just to see that this already has 288 mbyte. but after flashing c: has less free space thann with 5.5 (5.5: 241,1 mbyte, 6.1 213,2 mbyte).

    well, as long as calendar sync doesn't work i can't use 6.1.

      hi,
      thanks for the feedback, but the calendar sync issue has already been reported.

      i am working on a fix for this problem, please be patient.
      (btw. calendar sync works fine when you use exchange activesync, the bug only affects the sync via nokia suite (thats why i missed it while testing))

    Thanks. But I still can't choose Finnish as the input language - no scands on the QWERTY keyboard. Is this a problem with the language files or the firmware?

      I tried everything to fix finnish...
      - checked the ecom-2-0.spi
      - exchanged all files from a different OFW
      - changed the ecom-2-5.s09 to ecom-2-1.s09
      - tried a couple times on rofs3
      - and a couple times on rofs2

      Sorry no fix yet... only thing I can advise you for now is Swype keyboard, until I figure out what the reason is

      Okay, no rush on my account. The N8 is only a secondary phone now, so this is not so critical - although I would like to have everything working before I proceed to set it up for actual use. Strange problem, isn't it...

      And 3 writing languages russian/hebrew/english.

      I am originaly from ukrain but live in israel.
      All OFW israeli roms come with this option. maybe will be easier for you to extract it from it.
      Although dont think it matches the FP1.

      my account was suspended today because some fucking anti piracy program found similarities in the code of my files and they think I have illegal issues of violations regarding music, pictures, comics or movies. It's the third time this happened and it is always a wrong accusation. I'm in contact with mediafire to open it again, but i have to prove they are wrong and it will take at least till tomorrow

    Hi BogdanS,
    English is part of all firmwares, whatever language package you pick from above, it will be included alongside your secondary language.


    Unfortunatly, there is no way to add a language without flashing.
    Download the firmware and the language files you want and follow the instructions to flash it.
