Here is the long awaited update for the N8.
Again sorry this took so long, usually I am faster when it comes to fix bugs in my CFW's...
v6.2 is supposed to fix all previous problems and add some new mods.
Take a look at the change log for details ;)
Let me know how this version works for you!
Edit:
If you are new to "The One N8 v6.x" you may want to take a look at the release notes of v6.1.0 too:
The One N8 v6.1.0
i have v6.1.flash sofware update or refurbish v6.2?
ReplyDeletei always recommend to use refurbish.
Deletein this case to fix the calendar sync bug, it may be necessary (if you change the calendar settings yourself).
as always, you can try to use update.
if you have any bugs you can still flash again via refurbish.
the v6.1 translations will work with v6.2. I uploaded the fixed files today. I'll try to update the links from my phone, because I am at work. But latest this evening
ReplyDeleteDie Deutsche Übersetzung ist leider momentan nicht online. Gehörte die auch zu den die Gefixt werden musste? MediaFire sagt das sie gelöscht wurden ist. Also Nokia N8 6.x Sprach files German
ReplyDeleteI had to fix all of them. The only link working at the moment is greek. I'll update the links a.s.a.p.
Deleteif you didn't have any problems with the last one (language input ), then you can use the last rofs2
DeleteAll? ok. Then i wait for the Fixed German Lang. THX...
ReplyDeleteI downloaded the rar file of the one v6.2.0 for nokia n8. When i tried the unpack the rar file is says that the "core.fpsx" is damaged
ReplyDeletemaybe your download got interrupted or something...
Deletethere are around ~50 downloads since yesterday afternoon none of them reported an issue with the files.
i suggest to re-download the package
Same as always, I could not manage to download 6.2.0 from upload.de yet. And after every interrupted download you have to wait for an hour until you can try again :-(
ReplyDeleteit's even worse, you have to wait 3 hours (180 minutes)!
DeleteGuys, just restart your modem/router, so it gets a new IP.

ReplyDeleteDear freaxs_r_us,
ReplyDeleteI think that the "57 hebrew" link is broken.
please advise.
thanks,
David (DR)
this afternoon a new Hebrew translation will be made...wait for it
DeleteWann kommen bitte die SprachFiles z.b. Deutsch für 6.2 Online? Vielen Dank
ReplyDeleteGrüße Robert
heute nachmittag....in 3 hours
DeleteUpdate:
ReplyDeletelinks are ALL up... the name is still v6.1.0. , but they are for v6.2.0 also
all bugs fixed
Best ever hebrew translation is up - no... not BEST ... PERFECT !!!
ReplyDelete- big thanks to Dark_Elf
Good Day,
ReplyDeleteJust installed version 6.2.0 and the latest Hebrew translation.
Works like a charm!
Thanks.
David (DR)
I have also installed 6.2 and indeed works like a charm- for me.
ReplyDeletetnx both of you ;)
sabres
I want to thank you on the excellent work, because of you I enjoy working with my N8. I installed the version with Hebrew translation and its excellent.
ReplyDeleteBut there are two problems.
One. Hebrew QWERTY keyboard does not work.
Two. WIDGET Calendar does not display events probably due to the adjustment dates.
Thank you
Sharon
are you sure you flashed the new set ? Because the old set has those problems. I think you flashed the old set by mistake.I'll flash and test tomorrow, just to be sure, but I had already tested it and those problems weren't there
Deletetested the qwerty keyboard on hebrew... you are right...
DeleteI have done all correctly, now I will try to port the keyboard from a different firmware
Update:
Delete- fixed hebrew qwerty keyboard
I had to port the keyboard from an older firmware... the new one based on belle refresh doesn't have a working qwerty or at least the translation file doesn't work...
Now it's ok
I have a different CFW installed in my N8, can I flash this latest version directly? or I have to go some certain process? TIA. :D
ReplyDeletesince it is based on the newest firmware, you can flash it no problem
DeleteIts nice that someone was able to get JoikuSpot to work in the US. Is it possible to create a patch file so that a stock 808 can just install this file? Thanks in advance.
ReplyDeleteAfter every call, no network signal for 15 secs.
ReplyDeletenever heard of a problem like this... Try using a friend's SIM and tell me if the problem stilk exists
Deleteme neither... doesn't sound like a software issue.
Deleteif another sim card doesn't work, try to flash your ofw and see if the problem still exists.
Thanks for the excellent CFW. This is my first CFW, but I do have 1 question/issue:
ReplyDeleteI only use internet over Wifi, not over 3G/GPRS. On the OFW, I had Wifi enabled, but it wasn't always connected; only when I actively used it (e.g. opening browser) did it connect to my home network.
However with this CFW, the Wifi is always connected, whether I use it or not. Is there some setting/option that fixes this, or is this standard behavior for this CFW?
go to where you choose your wifi and press options in the bottom right corner... The wifi battery saving mode should be set on activated
DeleteBattery saving mode was already activated. I turned it off and on again, but that didn't help either.
DeleteEven when I manually disconnect, it connects again after about 15 seconds. I set email to sync every 4 hours, so that shouldn't be it.
Is there some kind of app that tells me what application is (running in the background and) connecting to the internet?
qooSystem tells want apps are allowed to connect to internet. But that's almost every program
Deletedo you have other widgets enabled?
dit you turn off "internet search" or "online search" in the search options?
WiFi should not remain active, it will kill your battery.
or you can use killme app
DeleteI don't have any different apps/widgets installed than before I flashed.
DeleteI turned off "Network Search" in the search options, although I don't know whether it was turned off before I flashed. It didn't help :(
I will to eliminate with killme.
Sounds like there is an app that uses the wifi connection.
DeleteTry if you have a clean firmware (without any apps installed).
Check if you have this problem.
Then I would gradually install my applications, and check, when does this problem appear.
Otherwise, check these articles, you might find some ideas to explore.
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/flow/item/16477_Wi-fi_connection_issues_on_Bel.php
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/flow/item/15581_Crowd_source_solving_the_Symbi.php
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98459
Thanks for all the suggestions :)
DeleteI thought it was an app too, but as I installed the exact same apps before and after flashing, I didn't see how this could be the problem.
Using a process of elimination (literally :P) with the killme app, I found it was a process called "ePNS" (C:\sys\bin\ePNS_0x2005f182.exe). Almost as soon as I killed it, Wifi disconnected. A few seconds after I re-enabled it, Wifi reconnected.
I will now try to find out what this process is/does.
Doesn't seem like google is my friend in this case. :P
DeleteThe only "relevant" result is some Spanish site (http://www.aplicacionesnokia.es/symbian-belle-en-nokia-n8-c7-c6-01-e7-x7-video/) where one commenter had the same problem. No solution was offered, unfortunately.
Does anyone else have an idea?
i just checked the whole firmware for the Uid, but it is not in the cfw initially. It is something on your phone, your E: or your F:
DeleteAfter googling some more, it seems to have something to do with eBuddy's XMS (https://twitter.com/jimmyphenomenon/status/271167223886934016).
DeleteI did install this, but I also had it installed before I flashed, and I don't remember having the same issue then (after closing the XMS app).
@the one: please post change log based on version number. thanks
ReplyDeleteit's already posted...v6.1 is accurate ... V6.2 was just a bug fix
Deletewe have two changelogs
Deletesummarized:
shows differences from the latest version of my cfw, compared to original firmware
internal:
shows differences between my own versions. starting from the ofw it is based on.
Any advice on how to upgrade to v6.2 from v5.5?
ReplyDeletewhat is there to advise ? Refurbishing is always better than update, save your data before flashing with the inbuilt backup and with Nokia Suite...flash, restore your settings...that's it
DeleteOK, will do this way!
DeleteHow can I set the "home mobile network operator"?
ReplyDeleteI changed sim cards, and the phone still "remembers" the old sim card as home, and treats the new sim card's connection as roaming (v5.5).
Will this be the same on v6.2?
On Symbian S60v3 there used to be a "Sett. wizard" application, but I don't find any menu option or similar to set the new sim card as the default network.
Can you suggest some solutions?
go to the Internet site from your provider... Some have a configurator to send settings sms and some write the the correct network adress. Then go to settings, connectivity, settings , network something and delete the old one and set your new one. If you get a settings sms, then open the sms, go to options and choose "save", and follow the steps shown after that. Either way, after that make a new backup, so the next restore is correct.
Deletewhich provider and which country are you ?
DeleteIt's Austira, bot.at.
DeleteI checked their webpage, nothing.
I went trough all the menu options in Settings systematically, but didn't find it.
In Settings\Connectivity\Settings\Network destinations\Internet\ removing and adding back manually the default access point doesn't help.
I didn't find any configuration sms. I wrote to the customer service.
I was not sure, wether there was a "Sett. wizard" originally in the firmware, and it is removed from TheOneCFW, or there wasn't any at all.
This is a common issue for me, when I travel, and buy a local sim card, the phone doesn't recognize the currently inserted sim card as "home network".
Any help would be appreciated.
no, there is no more settings wizzard like in s60v3...
Deleteusually the phone is set to automatically discover your network.
if you changed it in the settings to manually, you have to change it back of course...
go to settings -> connectivity -> network -> operator selection
Just having a few issues with the Facebook touch website. It gets stuck at loading. On disabling Javascript nothing happens at all. If I enable it, and enable pop up info I get a few errors. Is this something everyone else has or is it just me? I have hard reset the phone and still haven't been able to get the page working.
ReplyDeletei am not sure, i rarely use facebook (never on my phone)...
Deletebut i just tested and opened "facebook.com" in the nokia browser. got automatically redirected to m.facebook.com and the page seems to be working
although i didn't tried to login.
maybe you should try using fmobi, i think it is the best facebook client for symbian out there...
I think that he's talking about touch.facebook.com, not m.facebook.com
DeleteThe touch version works HORRIBLE in Symbian, even my 808 can't load it properly
Problem with this CFW and every other CFW (Maybe an OFW issue)
ReplyDeleteAfter some time the Numpad is disapearing and I have to change the theme for it to appear again.
Reboot doesnt help.
Any solution for it?
do you refurbish or do you update when flashing ? maybe it's a problem with your theme
Deleterefubrish, did everything by by the guide in this site(updated).
DeleteHad a problem at first with the refubrish, needed to go back to scandinavia and then update to v 6.2
Also I added to the original your hebrew rofs3 and writing languages hebrew, russian from the guide posted on the other forum, did exactly as said in the guide (with the ecom-2-0 to add multiple languages)
get the new package I made today and flash again...the stuff you included is old crap. I made the hebrew Russian one today and uploaded. Get it and then tell me if the problem still occurs.
DeleteCoulsomeone tell mehow tochangethefonts and how to add custom effects for themes to this cfw?
ReplyDeleteyou can change the fonts by adding them to rofs via nokia cooker before flashing, if you don't want to reflash, just google for it, there are lots of tutorials...
Deletethe effects can be changed very easy. like descibed in the changelog, just copy your new effects to c:\_tools\effects and restart your phone
(make sure effects are enabled in theme settings)
p.s. need to fix that spacebar lol
ReplyDeletebrother ! PLZ...CAN YOU UPLOAD UR N8'S 6.2.0 FOLDER TO MEDIAFIRE ??? plz>>>>>>>
ReplyDeletehello,
ReplyDeletewhen i flash to 6.2.0 the unlimited homescreens mod doesn's come true, and some other mods also, like te 5 pages symbols.
and when i add dutch language files also.
do you know what i am doing wrong?
greets marco
hi Marco,
Deletedid you flash via refurbish and clean up e:\ and f:\?
otherwise your old configuration may still be active and prohibits my mods to work...
any way to modify the spacebar for texting?
ReplyDeletebest cwf thanks
ReplyDeleteturkish language please
I've been flashing my 5800 for some time now using the Photon CFW's, and I'm now getting my first N8 - looking forward to try your CFW!
ReplyDeleteDoes it have any clear downsides you know of? E.g. the Photon C6 CFW for my 5800 caused extremely slow navigation as one downside. Everything else was magnitudes better, though.
My elaborate flashing process up till now included first hard resetting, then flashing the latest OFW with Phoenix including the eMMC contents, and then deleting the private, sys,... folders from it, and then refurbish using JAF to put on the C6 CFW.
Would you specifically recommend for E: and F: (I don't really get why there are two drives, really - I mean, there's only the internal flash and the SD-card, right?) to be fully formatted, or can I continue to use the above process, albeit using Phoenix with your CFW as well.
The N8 I got (impatiently waiting for the mailman...) seems to be TMobile branded, so I would opt to flash the OFW first, but maybe I don't have to.
Hello TheOne,
ReplyDeletei've still no bluetooth-button in Pastilli Labs Situation. After getting an update for Situations yesterday, i flashed my N8 again, today.
Flashing details:
- refurbished
- formated Massstorage
- Hardreset *#7370# before flashing
- no SDCard inserted (not while flashing and not after flashing)
- doesn't restored any data
I've read this problem is also in version 5.2, could you please check it out again.
Best regards
Stefan
Update:
DeleteHere is the answer fro the Situations support:
So far it seems the problem is missing (or somehow corrupt) Qt Mobility Connectivity module in the CFW. We don't know if anyone has come up with a solution.
Best regards
Stefan
Hello TheOne!
DeleteMe again!
After no message from your side and hours and hours of testing, I went back to the original "Belle Refresh 111.040.1511", because of the app Situations is very important for me. Now everything works perfect.
Your CFW is fantastic but not without the "Situations-Support". There must be a (little) difference between "the original QT Mobility Connectivity module" and the module which is used in your CFW. Please find it out, then i come back to you and your CFW ;-)!
Greetz
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
DeleteSorry to dissapoint you, I am actually still working my way through all the emails I got. Haven't answered/seen all of them yet..
If the missing Situations-Support is a dealbreaker for you, I absolutly understand you going back to OFW.
I hope you keep following the blog, maybe there is a solution for that in the future ;)
Regards
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Deletei hope too ;) and will follow.
Regards
Stefan
Hi theOne,
ReplyDeleteBig thanks for your work!
I'm trying to utilize N8 camera to its best.
Is camera in your CFW moded only via 2001B29B and 101FFA86?
Did you try to do something with yellowish tint and not well fixing focus in low light from OFW Belle?
I was also wandering if there is a way to extend exposure in N8 beyond 1/15sec limit, I heard it should be able to expose up to 1/2sec. In previous Symbian versions there was EExposureVeryLong, do you know if it's found in N8? At least it is not utilized in available scenery options.
Shortly, I want to get stock Camera App to work better in low light and would be happy to hear any thoughts?
The One: Thanks so much for making these CFW & even more for making them available to everyone... and for giving great support.
ReplyDeleteReally appreciated :)
I just reflashed my N8 with your 111.040.1511
v6.0.2 & it's working great.
I've read the internal notes and I have just one question please: Is 6.0.2 FP1 or FP2 or refresh or what?
Thanks..!!
This may be a stupid question, but in C:\_tools\backgrounds I found the default wallpapers (theOne-black.jpg and theOne-blue.jpg). However, if I copy my own wallpapers to this directory, the "change wallpaper" option on the homescreen menu doesn't find them. (I also tried C:\images and sub-dirs and the DCIM dir (Or I created the DCIM dir myself, I can't remember :)))
ReplyDelete(And now the actual question :P) What directory should I copy my walls to? (preferably on the C, so they're there even when in mass storage mode)
Thanks
that is correct, c:\_tools\background\ is excluded from the gallery so my wallpapers don't show up there (its a requested feature btw.).
Deleteas long as you put your wallpapers into a location that shows up in the gallery, you can use the method you described.
but you can also apply a new wallpaper by opening the image in the filebrowser from any location and select "options -> use image -> set as wallpaper"
PLease make THE ONE like ultimate os for my RM-609 Nokia E6-00.. i m waiting please...
ReplyDeletesorry mate, would like to support more devices but thats not possible without a phone to test it.
Deleteespecially the e6 with its different screen resolution would need intensive testing for all modifications...
Since I installed v6.2, my phone restarted during a phone call three times. Never happened before, using the same 3rd party softwares. Any idea why this could have happened?
ReplyDeletedid you clean up e:\ and f:\ before flashing (also did you use refurbish or update in phoenix)?
Deletei could not detect any issues like that on my test-devices, neither was it reported by anybody else...
any details on the software you are running (especially stuff thats running at all time in the background)
Awesome work man!! I had many Nokia sets but never really felt like messing around with the FW... until coming across your blog and the level of support you put behind your CFW!
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
I love the FW... the install was NOT smooth - I followed your steps precisely but towards the end I got some error messages but the phone wroked fine at the end!
One question that I have left is regarding Gmail & Exchange: the CFW comes with Exchange ActiveSync. I already have one work email using the Exchange... Any chance or mods so that I could add Gmail thru a secong Exchange config?
Currently I have work email thru Exchange & Gmail thru the phone email settings.. BUT it does not sync Calendar and worse, it does not delete emails on server!
Also, do you recommend any other ROMPatches other than the ones already in the CFW?
Thanks again man!
BB
Hi Bernardo, thank you for your feedback!
Deleteunfortunatly symbian allows only 1 EAS account at a time.
i recommend to use imap to synchronise a second account, this will allow you to delete mails and sync read/unread status of your messages on the server.
sadly i don't have a solution for the calendar sync issue. a possible workaround would be to sync your gmail calendars to your work-pc's calendar, which then gets synced to your phone via EAS (but you may don't want your gmail calendar in your business calendar).
other than that, there may be 3rd party tools that allow you to sync another calendar aswell...
e.g. this one: http://www.googasync.com/
but it is pricy! maybe you find a free one...?
sorry, i cant help you any furhter on this.
the rompatcher patches are fully optional. basically they are just a few text strings, so you can even write your own... that means there are a lot of patches out there.
personally i only use "fastlockkeyeventlong" and "highlevelvolumefix".
(and of course "open4all" for modding purposes, but thats only active when i need it)
so it depends on your preferences, whether you use the patches or not. they are only tools to customize your phone even further!
Thanks again for the reply!
DeleteGreat tip on GoogaSync... it works great, but yes, pricey... I used the trial version.. gotta decide if I want to keep it...
And you nailed it regarding the Work email and Personal email.... Well... worth asking for your advice!
Regarding the ROMPatcher, I hvae the same ones you recommend + RemoveRecTone ( *EVIL* )
Again, after running this for almost two months, all I can really say is THANK YOU! Phone is snappy, 130MB free, very sleek-looking! Love it! Great work man... really!
The only issue I have, and I am also mentioned as feedback, is that sometimes, or occasionally to be more precise, the Keyboard goes a bit crazy under writing mode... But a quick fix is to turn phone to landscape then back to portrait... Voila! Keyboard back to normal! Not sure if it is the CFW, the SWIPE or something else...
Considering you started over, as you mention, with version 6.x.x, I was wondering how it compares to the latest 5.x in terms of functionality and stability. How do they compare? I could imagine v6 is potentially better, but v5 more mature. Which of them do you recommend to use at this point? And do you expect for a 6.3 to come along any time soon?
ReplyDeletewith every version i work on, i get more experienced.
Deletev6 shows that very well i think.
while v5 needed a couple of version to iron out all the bugs, v6 was more stable and reliable from the beginning.
(i somewhere mixed up a 1 with a 0 which caused a bug in calendar sync, but that was the only bug reported so far)
so my advise is to go for v6!
if you find any bugs, i will do my best to fix them in a new version ;)
hello! I need some help. my n8 became a brick when i was flashing through phoenix . then i tried dead usb flashing method. the flashing gets completed and all but after that the n8 doesnt switch on automatically or even manually. the nokia logo and the 5 dots appear and then vanish. please help me.
ReplyDeleteI think I need more details to help you...
DeleteWhat files exactly did you flash and where did you download them?
Have you tried to power off the phone, by holding the power button for 10 sec until it vibrates?
switching it back on after that should bring it back to life.
if that doesn't work, you have to flash your phone again via dead usb mode.
don't panic, i am sure we get it fixed ;)
thank u so much for replying! initially i was using xeon 3.5.1 , then i installed delight 6.099, i ddnt like it, so i wanted to go back, so i flashed. it became a brick, after several tries i was able to flash delight into it again. but still i wanted to go back to xeon and then it became 2nd time. i followed the method shown in n8fanclub.com and downloaded from them as well.
Deletei have tried power off, the nokia logo and 5 dots appear and then nothing. do i have to connect charger while flashing?
ok, i see...
Deletei know the delight cfw is based on the latest "(original) belle refresh 111.040.1511". so you should have no problem to flash other firmwares based on the same version.
(as an example the latest OFW or my own "The One" CFW)
i didn't follow the progress of xeon, therefore i don't know what symbian version it is based on... if its older than 111.040.1511, you can not directly flash it!
you will have to downgrade your N8 first, by flashing the scandinavian firmware (google for N8 downgrade and you will find it).
using the scandinavian firmware to downgrade is also a good way to troubleshoot your phone.
let me know how that works out for you, or if you need additional informations.
good luck ;)
the craziest thing ever happened.. i flashed ur cfw 6.2 and thank god it works.. BUT ITS DELIGHT AGAIN!! how is this possible? im 100% sure of the files i placed. what do i do now? :(
DeleteThere are only two possibilities:
Delete-flashing did not work correctly and therefore you are still on Delight
-flashing was successfull, but you flashed with the files of delight
There is a tutorlial on my blog, about how to flash.
Take a look at it, to make sure you got the correct files and in the correct location.
If you can not figure it out with the files, I suggest to flash the scandinavian firmware to downgrade.
You will be back on S^3 (PR1.x) and you will be free to go to any firmware you want ;)
i downgraded. it was fine. then i tried flashing ur cfw 6.2 as well as xeon . but again again i get the same delight! can there be some thing wrong with delight cfw, which makes it hard to change the cfw?
DeleteHi again ;)
Deletedid you actually see S^3 PR1.x on your phone (the Symbian version before Belle)?
can you 100% confirm that the downgrade worked properly?
hi! i didnt check the device manager. but the firmware seemed very basic. it had light bluish white theme. i followed a tutorial on you tube to do that (http://techprolonged.com/index.php/2011/08/22/tutorial-how-to-downgrade-nokia-n8-from-symbian-belle-to-symbian-anna/ ) the left n8 picture in this link kind of looked liked the fw which i had. only one home screen but.
Deleteok, sounds like you did everything right with the downgrade...
Deletebut once on S^3 PR1.x, there is only one way to go back to Delight:
flashing again by using the firmware files of delight!
so you must have confused the delight files with mine.
there is no other explanation.
i suggest to clean up your pheonix folder of all firmware files, to make sure nothing is left from any other fw/cfw.
then copy the files of my cfw (or whatever you want to flash) back into the phoenix directory.
if you still have issues, i recommend we communicate via email, so we can exchange some screenshots to find the source of your problem ;)
mmh.. k. thank u! but at the moment im afraid ill brick it up again. so ill use delight for a month or so and try flashing again later. it was very nice of u to help me!
Deletecheers! :)
shazina
you're welcome ;)
Deletehave fun with your phone mate!
(if you need more help later, just come back here)

DeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteWell, first of all, congrats! this CFW is AWESOME hehe
sencond, I have a Q's... But first, I'm going to show you my problem.
When I Enabled the ROMPatcher+ Mods I've noticed first that the velocity of my cellphone dicreases. And second, If I add all the mods to auto and then I restart my mobile when this run I cannot use it so I have to make a Hard reset in order to fix it... My Question is. Can I chance this ROMPatcher+ for the one that I have? This one has just 2 or 3 Mods and cannot dicrease the development of my mobile. What do you recomend me? Is there any option to fix this problem? Please if you can answer me ASAP
Hi Luis,
Deletethanks for your feedback, glad to hear you like my CFW ;)
i am using the same version of rompatcher+ as anyone else. so there is no "my rompatcher" or "your rompatcher".
some patches are not made for autostart, i would need more details about the patches you activated to tell you more about your problem...
what i can comment on, is the amount of available patches.
i implemented only a basic set of patches. you can add more patches yourself, by copying additional ones to "E:\Patches".
rompatcher can be a powerfull tool, but as you noticed also a dangerous one that can crash your phone... i recommend to use only the patches you really need/know what they are doing ;)
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI used Tripadvisor integrated into "Reiseführer", maybe called "travel guide" in English. This was great, because it used the Nokia maps. Unfortunately, it does not work anymore (since app. 6 weeks). It seems, that the link (begins with "/MobileNokiaLauncher?...." used by "Reiseführer" is blocked by the company Tripadvisor (compare with http://www.tripadvisor.de/robots.txt). I contacted Tripadvisor, but the feedback didn't satisfy. Do you have any idea for a solution?
Kind regards
Günter
The programm is called "guides" in English, and you're correct, the tripadvisor part doesn't work anymore. Which is a bit strange, because the tripadvisor content can be reached via the "Maps" application just fine. So, locate the hotel in question on the map, and long-press for details, and you can access the Trip Advisor reviews.
DeleteThanks for the reply, but the other way round was much more convenient!
DeleteRegards Günter
Hi Daniel, do you think about v6.3 with "Situations compatibility" ;-) or did you do it like Nokia and let the N8 die :-(? Regards Stefan
ReplyDeleteHi Stefan,
DeleteGood to hear from you ;)
I do think about it, but I can not give you any timeline... currently I am busy with an update for the 808. My 808 also needs repair, because of a hardware issue, which will set the whole project "on hold" for a week or two... After that, we will see :)
Friday, 11 January 2013????
ReplyDeleteare u kidding me?
i am not kidding!
Deletethe official Belle Refresh by Nokia was release late August 2012... so my CFW is still a lot newer than Nokias work itself.
is there anything wrong with my cfw or is it just the date itself that upsets you?
why would you think a cfw created yesterday, would be anything better than what i created in january?
haha..chill bro.
ReplyDeletein n8delight.blogspot delight v6.2 was posted on Wednesday, June 5, 2013..
and i just flashed it yesterday.
so do u mean v6.2 is created earlier before official release?
sory im new here..
owh2..sory it's a different CFW..my bad :) ...
ReplyDeleteno problem mate ;)
Deletebut like you said, my cfw was release in january, the new delight was released in june... but we still use the same base version "belle refresh v111.040.1511".
so i would not call my own cfw outdated yet.
Vorab..
ReplyDeleteDanke für die CFW! Allein die minimalistische Startsequenz ließ Gutes vermuten.. Ja!
-> Admin.. -> Net.set.." ist:
Delete[ Download ]
"Ab Werk" gabs mal 3 Menüpunkte:
[ Install net communication..] - ..(service(?)) also download
[ Nokia VioP settings ]
[ Example VoiP settings ]
Nach der Installation von "SIP_VOIP_settings_applications" gibt es zusätzlich:
[ Advanced VioP settings ]
Sorry, bin grad etwas weg vom n8..
