v1.4.0

The 1. August is the swiss national day. In the year 1291 Switzerland was founded here:

That picture is from last week when I took my holidays and visited the "Rütli" for the first time.

Patriotism is not one of my stongest feelings, but who really needs a reason to party.
I am going to enjoy the day and I hope with a small update for my CFW you can do that too ;)

Still the same UDA, that means like before ~560MB free space on C:\ and ~300MB free RAM at startup.

    In your changelog you mentioned camera compression is changed to 95%. What was default compression set to?

      200159ed.txt controls the portrait/landscape settings.

      default jpeg compression was 85%.

      My dialer screen is still rotating even though the value for telephony (0x100058B3) in 200159ed.txt is set correctly - (int 65536). I also have values for idlescreen, call log. lockscreen and menu to portrait only (int 65536) and none of them rotates anymore.

      i know, tried it myself.
      don't know why this is not working anymore.

      maybe nokia changed the uid?
      (not that it would make any sense)

      don't remember :p
      just added a few file extensions for the harvester...

      no new fileformats are supported in my cfw!
      its just a mod, that the music player can find and add files that were already supported (usually it looks just for a few like mp3, aac... i added the ones who are working, so that they also show up in the music player)

      i would have to check the mod again to see what exactly i added... sorry

    Hi, is it possible to port the new Audio player of your N8 CFW to the 808?

    V1.4.0 runs smooth and without any Bugs, perfectly! But are you planning a CFW wich is completely german?

      well, i am expecting help by freaxs_r_us and elpeter for full translations.

      but we are still in the planning stage, i have to discuss this with both of them...

      meanwhile, if you follow the link to the daily mobile post by freax_r_us (download page). you may find out how to do your own translation.

    Question...
    Is there way to make camera review pic rotate?
    I mean when you take vertical camera shot and image is shown for review even though it opens with gallery image wont rotate when you rotate the phone. It always stays in landscape - no matter what. On the other side images opened trough Gallery do follow accelerometer rotation.

      i think since its opened through the camera app, the preview does not rotate, because the camera ui doesn't follow the accelerometer...

      this needs to be changed by nokia. not possible via simple modding (we would need the source code)

      you can not go back to .309, because fp1 devices can not be downgraded.

      but of course you can flash any cfw or original fw based on .311 or higher
