All the pics are taken by the Nokia 808 ;)
For technical details about the Lumia 920, I recommend to take a look at gsmarena.com.
What makes it stand out of the crowd, are these facts (at least in my opinion):
- Display: 4.5 inches, PureMotion+, ClearBlack, 768 x 1280 pixel (332ppi), Corning Gorilla Glass (2)
- PureView Camera: 8 MP (3264 x 2448 pixels), Carl Zeiss, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)
- Qi wireless charging: read more in my previous review about the DT-900/DT-901
Unpack
Here is the content of the Lumia 920 box.

Now my new Lumia 920 is charging up. After I got the chance to test it for a while, I may write a few words about it in form of a review.

ReplyDeletethanks :)
Deletewow looks good! is this yours?
ReplyDeletenot sure yet...
Deletei got it by renewing my sisters mobile subscription.
i'll see her next friday and let her pick between the lumia 820 and lumia 920.
so i get to keep one of those phones :)
i kinda prefer the lumia 820 and thats why i will recommend it to my sister.
i think she should get the "better" phone, because it will be her primary device (for me the lumia will be a secondary phone, next to my 808).
Hey what's the RM of your phone? I'm wondering if it is 820 or 821?
ReplyDeleteI have the global variant "RM-821".
DeleteWhy do you ask? As far as I know the only difference is the LTE band...
have you updated to Amber yet? Does your variant automatically contain the 'access point' app? I didn't have it prior to flashing but have it now and am wondering if it is standard now with Amber.
ReplyDeleteYes, my Lumia 920 is running Amber.
ReplyDeleteI have the Swiss Country Variant and therefore the access point option was always there...
I think it should have been there in all firmwares.
Is it possible that you missed it, because the Amber firmware (and some updates form Store/Nokia) changed the menu arrangement a little bit?
