I am working very hard lately to support all devices, so I hope you guys can forgive small mistakes...
Here is a bug fix for the Nokia X7 custom firmware v3.1.0.
v3.1.1 fixes the commslauncher widget (Contacts, Communications) and adds a nicer Anna style icon for the RomPatcher.
If you are running The One X7 v3.1.0 already, you can use "update" instead of "refurbish".
For full release notes of v3.x for the X7 read on here:
The One X7 v3.1.0
Hello there
ReplyDeleteMy phone sitting in Offline mode cannot change profile after selecting Normal or any other profile phone restart but keep saying offline and cannot install any apps. Please let me know if i need to Install "The One X7" on it. Please let me know which files I required before doing any change. Please provide me links. manjeetpabla79@gmail.com
It sounds like your SIM card is broken.
DeleteYou can still try to flash a Cusom firmware..but no promises that it will go online after that...
for help and links go to the "How to" Section
I tried replacing SIM cards but no success. So I try to flash with Phoenix and its and after selecting Open Product RM707 for X7 (RM-707 The One X7 v3.2.0) I went to Flashing then Firmware Update and when I hit 3 dots button and I am getting error pop up
ReplyDeleteHeading - Change Product Code - error " Neither DP1.0 nor DP2.0 was found for the Product, or the Product cannot be identified" X on top and OK on bottom.
Please advise
If you get the Dongle Problem, then your files are not in the right spot. Make a folder "RM-707" = big letters, no spaces
Deleteput it in C:\programms\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\

btw BIG Thanks Mr. freaxs_r_us fo helping me out. If its possible can you please login to my PC through Teamviewer so that I can show you my problems. BTW I am using RM-707 The One for my Rogers Phone (Canada)
do it again and when the countdown starts unplug your phone from the usb...take out battery and reinsert battery.. Turn ON ...done..No need to plug in anymore
DeleteI did as per your suggestion and now phone starts up - Nokia Logo loads up after few seconds 2nd image loads up with Three Circle space anpther three circle and after few seconds OS loads up and saying "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer." BTW my phone is X7 so to take out battery and reinsert will need to open whole hardware.
ReplyDeletePlease advise next step.
according to the log, flashing was done correctly.
Deletejust don't disconnect it early, after phoenix is done turn you phone off and restart it.
if it boots up with my wallpaper you are fine.
my x7 is currently in the same situation it is loading the custom load screen and then says phone startup failed contact the retailer
ReplyDeleteok, then something clearly went wrong!
Deletecan you give me more details about what you did exactly?
how do I download the one x7 3.1.1 from this page
ReplyDeleteWhy not go for 3.2.0?
Deletebut anyway:
