The One Reloaded v3.2.2 (808)

A small bug fix update for my 808 CFW.

If you are on v3.2.1, you can use "update" instead of "refurbish".

It will fix the bluetooth problems, caused by akncapserver mod.
If you get errors like "sending failed" or similar, update to this version.
That mod is now removed...

Thanks to 808User from Daily Mobile Forum for reporting this bug to me!

In my own experience, this bug especially affects people using translations... Since my 808 is in repair, I can not test it myself.
I will test this Mod properly when my phone comes back, but for now I think it is better to remove it.

If you want to test the mod yourself, you can get it from here:
Akncapserver.exe modded by iExtraX7

Translations

The translations for v3.2.1 are fully compatible to v3.2.2.
Only important changes are in CORE, so the ROFS2 by freaxs_r_us will still work!

      if you contact me via email, i can give you the file to decrease the volume...
      (would need you to test it for me, since i don't have a symbian phone right now)

    1. thanks for the report, but i don't fully understand...

      so you are saying, you can reproduce this problem everytime on v3.2.2?
      can you tell me step-by-step how to cause this bug?

      and you say it only happens on your phone and it is fine on your friends phone?

    1. so if i understand you correctly, if you restart your phone in power saving mode, your phone is stuck in boot loop?

    2. I have the same problem,too. Sometimes it does that and i thought it was relate.d to the 3g bug. Like faulty hardware causing bugs, because it doesn't appear on all phones. I can work around the restart by punching in the pin very, very quickly

    3. correct friend, use the 04 translations, however, is ok with 3.1.1

    4. so what happens then, do you need to reflash?

      as soon as my own phone comes back, i will check for this bug!

    5. just an idea...

      delete "domainsrv.exe" from those directories:
      c:\sys\bin\
      AND
      c:\sys\hash\

      you need to activate open4all in rompatcher and use a 3rd party filebrowser to get access to the files.

      sorry guys, you know why i cant test it myself right now :s

    8. Hello friend, I have removed the file and I activated several times energy saving, the results are ok, the phone has gone on and the pop-up "connection error." However, I have seen that now, once activated energy savings, the network remains in "GSM" once desactivado.Si you want, tomorrow I will be able to discuss the results back, thank you very much

  9. In 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 I've been getting crashes and reboots most days, often more than once per day.

    Last night I completely rebuilt 3.2.2 on my 808 Phoenix's 'Dead Phone Flash'.

    The phone rebooted itself a few minutes ago :(

    Apps running were:

    --Apps--
    * Whatsapp
    * Nimbuzz
    * Music Player

    --Services--
    * Skydrive (auto photo uploader)
    * Nokia Battery Monitor

    Anybody else encountering frequent reboots?

    Matt

    1. hi matt,

      thanks for the report. i did not notice any restarts on my english version myself, but currently i can not test it myself :(

      i got similar reports on german and spanish versions of my cfw... do you use any translations?

      regards
      daniel

    2. 3.2.2 with translation the 04 remains well off since "domainsrv." When activated energy saving, continuous network in GSM mode while the battery is fully charged

    3. I'm not running any translations, just your standard cfw 3.2.2. It's still crashing most days too :(

      Is there anything I can look for on the phone that might provide a crash report to help identify the problem?

    4. I have this Problem, too, it is not software, but Hardware issues

      I'm sending my 808 in, like TheOne, but I need my N8 back from a friend first

      even though the software fixes had made the breakdown and freeze issues easier to reboot, but still... need to send it in

      I thought I got lucky, because I didn't have any Color-tint-screen-issue... I guess I was only partially right

      Delete
    5. @freaxs_r_us How do you know that the reboot problem is a hardware issue?

      I too have a tint-free display, but it took two returned 808 units before I got it.

    6. i had so many amoled-powered devices in my hands (most of them nokia's) and none of them had any issue with the screen :p

      about the reboots. does it happen when you are using the 3g connection?
      if yes, it is a hardware issue!
      (it can also be automatically checking for email or something like that)

      i used v3.2.x about 1.5 weeks before i sent my phone into repair, i did not have a single crash in that time!
      to make sure it is not a software problem, i suggest to clean up e:\ and f:\ and refurbish with the latest version of my cfw.

    7. Thanks for the quick reply.

      Last time I applied your cf (3.2.2) I flattened e: and f: and carried out a dead phone flash.

      My 3G connection is on and in use 24/7 because a) I don't have wifi at home, b) I'm with three.co.uk so 2G data is not available, c) I run whatsapp, nimbuzz (for gtalk) and two push email connections.

      Does this mean I'll have to return my 808 to Nokia?

      Delete
    8. as mentioned for testing, i recommend to reinstall the latest version via refurbish (just in case something is on your phone causing this iisue) and then turn off the data connection for a while... see if the problem still exists.

      if the crashes only happen on while 3g connections are active, you probably have the same hardware bug my 808 had.

  11. Hi, I would like to do an update rather than a refurbish but when I follow the exact steps in the "How To (Updated)" (except choosing Software Update instead of Refurbish I get the error pop up "The user data items list is not empty. This conflicts with dead phone USB flashing and basically stops me doing the update. I have no idea what it is talking about and I cannot find any help searching online - can anyone help me with this please?

    1. you can't update in dead flash mode. If your phone is not dead, then go to No Connection and choose the RM, after unticking the dead phone flashing box, go to options and delete the red .emmc again.....if your phone is dead, then there is no other way...I just hope you backed up your files
