The One Reloaded v3.3.1

Ok guys, sorry about that... very small update shortly after the release of v3.3.0.

Everything I said in the release notes of The One Reloaded v3.3.0 is also important for this release!

Only thing that changed, is a slighly updated UDA.
I removed some language files from the Maps Apps (only a few KB) and added the domainsrv.exe.

If you already flashed v3.3.0, there is no need to update. If you need the domainsrv.exe you can add it yourself without flashing ;)

It is mainly for new users and future updates of my CFW.

  3. I've been using this a couple of days now... and I must say, even though I haven't sent my 808 in for repairs yet,

IT IS still the most stable version I have used till now
probably, because the translation is perfected out now, also

    BIG THANKS to TheOne

  4. Hello Freak... Some issue on the firmware:

    - Transition Effect when switching from horizontal to vertical, the effect delays 2 secs
    - The Bar on the bottom of the screen is a little piece of pixels down...

There's still an issue when I bought my Nokia... When I play music or radio loud with or without speakers, after a lot of time it restarts... I don't know if that's a software problem or a hardware defect... Anyway it's boring...

Thanks freak and keep up the good work!!!
    Mark.

    1. Hi Mark... No transition problem here. The pixel on your screen must be broken, because the pixels are full here....i listened to music last weekend for three hours a time and never had that problem

    2. Hi Freax!! Pixels here are ok... Just a littile waiting of latency when swiitching... Dunno why... And anyway that's not only a Nokia 808 problem but a friend of mine with a n8 restarts all OS when on programs or music listening... hmmm Nokia gave us a lot of issues... :-(

  5. Hi, been using this CFW for a few days now. Only 2 days shorter than I had my Nokia 808 :-) In general I had little issues, it works stable.

    I do have some questions:
    - How do I lock the volume and camera keys? I looked in all options, and tried programs like "power lock", but they do not work. I cannot use the Nokia as a music player if it keeps changing the volume all the time!

    - JPEG quality is now 95% for pureview and 85% for full res. Are those settings user adjustable. (for example set "normal" to 95% and "fine" to 100%. I reprocess my pictures in Lightroom, thus 100% would be nice.

Thanks again for the stable CFW!!

    1. as far as i know you can not lock the volume keys.
to disable the unlock by camera button feature, go to "settings -> application settings -> camera -> capture when phone locked"

i think the jpeg quality mod only works for full screen resolution shots. pureview images get processed differently, don't know how to change that...
if you use the advanced creative settings, you can choose jpeg quality yourself (normal 85%, superfine 95%).

    2. Hi,

AudioWave player can change the function of volume keys to "next / previous", thus remapping them should be possible.

Is it possible to set jpeg quality of full-res to 95% for normal and 100% for fine?

    3. remapping the hardware keys in my cfw would be possible, but the only way i know of doing this, would be removing volume control from those buttons completly... they would not work in the system anymore.

remapping the keys via 3rd party software is a very different process...

i know the file that controls the jpeg compression. there will be a standalone mod for this request in upcoming versions.
      (currently busy with other stuff)

    4. I'm still using this CFW, but I'm heaving major battery drain issues.

First it was the aknspasrv background process, that drained the battery in about 6 hours. This was solved by disabling the "online search". Next the weather widget killed the battery, which I removed by installing a single weather.sis file, and then uninstalling that application.

Now the Cpix search and harvester services kill the battery. These are parts of the Microsoft Office. How can I disable them without uninstalling MS Office? I never use the search function, but I do use the OneNote application.

I know these issues are not caused by the CFW, thousands of N8(08) users complain about battery drain. But only vague "solutions" are offered. (and Nokia does nothing to help!)

    5. the biggest drain battery issue is the wlan battery saving mode. It should be activated. I always got at least 1day of heavy usage, so i power it over night. The only thing I know of that drains the battery that fast isthe wlan i just talked about. 2nd issue is, that i don't have the 3g on if I don't use it for surfing. And I don't have the screen on full brightness all the time. Even if I have 3g on and email app at all 15min, and rss feed widget and weather running at all time, plus whatsapp, I still get more than 6 hours...more like 1 day. Even if I use fmtx and maps for two hours I'm getting better results

    6. I have done everything suggested by Nokia to save battery. And when no application is in a infinitive loop, the battery life is excellent (3 to 5 days average use). But when I connect the Nokia to my PC, to mount the memory via USB, and disconnect again, the search harvested will kill my phone. It takes about 10 to 20 hours, and then it is back to normal again. I might have alot of files, but that should not be illegal (for example ViewRanger cache is multiple millions of small files.).

    7. I have about 60gb of files on my phone and sdcard, still I don't have those bad results...I know it sucks, but just to ve sure it is not the software... Flash ofw for a couple of days with no sdcard and a formatted E.....then see if it still eats the battery, if not, then reinstall your stuff and then see, and then the same with the cfw...if it still occurs with ofw, then you need a new battery.. If not, then it's something with your settings or files, because those results are not usual. Another idea is your location....if you always have a bad signal, then the phone tries hard to keep it up, which will eat the battery, too

  6. Hello the_one! I'm facing a problem flashing your cfw on my 808. Ιτ's a black one, unlocked, and with German Product Code. Ι tried several times to flash your firmware 3.3.1 via PSS 2012.36.xxxx but none ended successfully. Although, i am an experienced cfw Symbian power user and have flashed dozens of times my N8, PSS refused to flash your fw on my 808 and was giving me an "error 0x12", just while trying to delete my device's UDA (dead phone flashing procedure). Of course i had no antivirus active at the moment, the firmware was correctly decompressed and placed in the right RM-807 subfolder under /Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix. Desktop OS is Windows XP Sp3. Any ideas why i constantly get that error? Anybidy else have similar issues?

    4. Phoenix version 2012.24 worked flawlessly! Thanx again freaxs!
One last question: Is there an option/mod to make the red hard key/power button to work as a hard key to exit apps (like the ofw)?

  7. Is there another place I can download from? The uploaded link is terrible for me (Currently in the Philippines), for 3 days I have been unable to download more than 5mb then the link drops and I cannot try again for another hour.

Each tool/app can only be downloaded at a rate of 1 an hour after that.

    1. sorry, currently i am using uploaded.net only...
did you read the tips in the faq about downloads?

use a download manager and create a free account for more stable connections.
